And so I experiment with the Truth channel and how the external world modifications with my seeing lens. Shall I live in the Bad or great Truth today?
The title of this terrific Cole Porter tune –Night and Day – likewise explains the in some cases adjustable nature of my outlook on life.

The capability to think that by altering my thinking I can alter my truth is a present. Partially, my life is about sharing this present.

Example: It is late night, and I’m thinking of all I need to achieve in the week ahead – book publishing information, workshop preparation, handouts to end up, that audiorecording script I wish to compose, a call to my sis, aircraft bookings to Chicago, and so on, not to discuss the minutiae of the telephone call, e-mail, web searches, and follow up related to each job. I feel overloaded, worn out, egotistical, and crippled.
My spouse Jim and I call these “Night and Day” perspectives the Great Truth and the Bad Truth. I would rather be in the Great Truth – favorable, enjoyable, and complete of possibility.
In some cases I drop into the Bad Truth, where life is hard, dismal, and demanding. I feel weighed down, insufficient, and helpless. I can’t discover my energy or my spirit.
I practice meditation, view the sun increase, and excitedly expect the day. I’ll get ill – I feel fantastic! I will definitely stop working – My day is filled with pledge.

In some cases I can get there on my own steam. I simply alter my mind, or laugh at myself, or both.
