These are simple words, but they are powerful, are they not? The faith or will to believe comes before these words.
There are a lot of Bible verses about faith but you must read some of them carefully. Remember, you are choosing your God so be sure you choose your God well. It is an important part of your relationship with Him. Find out more about this concept.
There are many Bible verses about faith to choose from. The Christian should be able to recognize verses of faith. If you get to choose from a Bible, go for the one you like the best. Your God will bless you and if you are diligent in learning about His word, you will be blessed.
How can true faith be equated to courage does not equate to faith. To some people, faith is a test of endurance. For others, faith means being willing to do something regardless of what it is or how much it costs. There are people who are willing to take their lives in their hands and sacrifice anything and everything for God. There are others who fear giving up everything for God because they do not know the depth of their commitment to Him.
“I will give the glory to the Lord” – verse 50 is one verse. What does that mean? How would you describe that verse?
How about verse 54? Why would you want to name something, if you don’t like it? “He shall look on the evil and commit it.” You know the Bible says to fear God.
“I will choose the weak things of the world to make strong. The things which are weak shall be made strong.” Those words say “I will choose the weak things of the world to make strong” What does that mean? Does it mean you need to stand up for what you believe? No, it means you need to lead by example.
“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Nowhere does the Bible teach you that one must find strength to live by one’s Word alone. The Bible teaches you to have faith in the promises God makes in His Word.
Does faith mean you believe in anything? Does faith mean you believe that God will save you? Is faith something you can call upon to fulfill your needs? As long as you trust God, you will be able to depend on Him for strength to do whatever it is you have set out to do.
“You have heard that it was said ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. He also gives food to those who hunger and clothing to those who are homeless. He sends warmest and kind words down to those who walk at home.
